Hi! It is September 24th 2018 and suddenly I really want to start writing actively on my blog like I had already did long time ago. I hope this will be a blessing or an enlightment for anyone who read this.

So, I want to begin with this question first:WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST FEAR? I mean, WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST FEAR? Something that you truly hope never happen in your life, that make you feel worry, and over thinking about it all the time. If me, it is about losing someone I love. I really scared to lose people in my life. And to be honest, I didn’t realize that it could happened at least once in a day that I would suddenly, out of nowhere, start thinking about people whom I love, hoping that they are all healthy and happy, and strangely end up worrying if they sick, or something bad happen to them and I will never see them anymore. And of course, fear and worry are two powerful weapons to take away my inner peace. And when my peace is gone, I would feel worry and fear even more.

Yesterday night at church I get an answer from God. Never hold anything in this world too tightly than you are holding God. Because anything in this world would change and gone. Yes, ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD WOULD CHANGE AND GONE. People die, situation’s out of control, you’ll never know what will happen next, and things are not forever. But God never change, He is always kind. He never gone, He is always there, and YOU WILL NEVER LOSE HIM.

That’s why I now understand why we should love God more than anything else in this world. Why He should be the purpose of our life. Because if we don’t, we will be broken someday when we lose people or bad things happen. And God loves us too much to see us broken. He wants us to depend on Him always, to hold Him tightly, and to have hope in Him because HE IS SO KIND AND RELIABLE. He knows us best and it is always best to put HIM as our number 1 in everything. At the end of time, it is only between you and God ❤️

2016 is gone so fast (without writing anything in this blog, OMG, sorry), and now we are entering a new year!
So many things had happened in 2016, especially in my family. Today I just want to share a season in my life in 2016 which probably was the BIGGEST thing I really wanted to share to the entire world.

Here it is!

My biggest struggle in the last 12 years was bringing my family to Jesus, especially my Mom. She is a kindhearted and selfless person, but I knew it is nothing without Jesus. She was born from a family with strong belief on tradition, so it was difficult to take her to church. But since the middle of 2015, she finally wanted to accompany me to church EVERY Sunday. I was so happy that time, especially because she started to be excited when listening to the sermon (but sometimes she was very very sleepy too), she started to pray to Jesus, admitted that Jesus is God, and she was pretty much changed to be a better person. But I also felt there was something missing, she was not being baptized yet. Unfortunately, I didn’t know how to explain to her that baptism is a step of faith and true repentance. I was also afraid to ask her to be baptized because I thought it should come from personal willingness. So, I did just keep praying for that.

Then something happened at the beginning of this year, in March to be exact. My Mom, who was already feeling something strange in her stomach for several months, was diagnosed by colon cancer. Me and my family were all shocked. “Cancer” for us sounded so frightening, dangerous, and it was like the worst thing ever happened to our world, to our beloved Mom. It was something that we thought only happened far away there, in somebody-out-there’s life, and not and never in our family.
We were all sad, burdened, and so anxious. All that worst feeling mixed together at the time.

But in the midst of all those feeling, we also felt courageous knowing that it was not the end of the world. And I, personally, strongly believed that everything happens for a reason and God always has purpose! I chose to trust Him more than my mixed feeling.

Long story short, my Mom had surgery and took more than a week to recover and then allowed to return home. A month after the surgery, she had to do chemotherapy which took 12 times in 6 months. Mom had done everything well and now her body is already declared clear and clean (thanks Jesus!) and have to do routine check up to monitor everything (Please keep my Mom in your prayer too, so she will keep being healthy and above all else, growing more in Jesus).

2016 was really not easy for us, but as I mentioned before, God has purpose for everything. And His purpose for my family in 2016 was to bring my entire family into His salvation. And yes He did it! My Mom had decided to give her body and life totally to Jesus and got baptized just 4 days before the surgery. Not only Mom, but also my brother. It was something that I never imagine before, to see my Mom walked by herself into the baptismal pool and being baptized. It was a beautiful and touching moment!

What happened in 2016 was also making our bond as family become stronger. We treasured more every moment with family because we knew that life is short. But we had no worries knowing that everyone who is already receiving Jesus as God and Savior will have eternal life in heaven. No better things compare to it!

So, guys.. I would say for any of you, if you are in struggle for your family salvation, keep praying for that. KEEP PRAYING! Even when you are clueless and see nothing get better. God will make a way, in His own time! It may not always be easy, but it will always be worth it.

Finally, through all the good and bad times in 2016, I could see that God is indeed so faithful, even when we were unfaithful. Not even once He leaves us. He always finish what He has started. He always be there in every season of our life. How lucky and blessed to have such a loving caring God!

Thanks Jesus for everything in 2016.
Let’s get ready for a new year! HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!
God bless you!

Act 16:31 “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.”

Hi everyone! It’s been a very long time not posting anything here!
To be honest, I felt like I lost my writing desire lately. It was like I had no time to blog, nothing to share, no idea.
But yeah, today I just want to post something about my gratitude.
I’m trying to count my blessings and name it one by one (I know it will be very long and still I will miss so many things since my blessings are countless!)
But I will write it anyway.

So here we go!

I’m so thankful for:

  1. Having Lord Jesus as my God and Savior. I’m forgiven, saved by His grace, loved, and blessed! No words can describe how thankful I am to have Him. And the good news is, even though I can’t describe it, you also can feel it when you have Him as your God and Savior! Jesus is my everything, my beginning, my forever!
  2. People in my life.
My parents, they’re not perfect but they’re the best. My dad is blessed (he works diligently & never complains), my mom is a superwoman (she cooks every morning so we always have breakfast on time).  My brothers are kindhearted (read: mau nganter ke sana-sini).
My grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins, they’re all good people.
My boyfriend who loves me unconditionally (include his family).
My bestfriends: Sally (since Junior High School, and she is the only one who still keep contact with me regularly after this 10 years of friendship), Meme, Oliph, Lie Chen (since High School, we always make time to catch up, because we know that our friendship is precious).
Michelle & Stephanie (my trio piano partner, we share the joy of music together).
Christine (the one I trusted when it comes to share my thoughts).
My family in Christ (all of them!)
Selly, Debby, Ko Erick, Edward. Somehow I feel like they’re truly more than just church friends for me, they are my brothers & sisters. I can share anything without any doubts with them.
My piano teachers, I can be a teacher now because of their endless patience & support in teaching me in the past.
Lusi, Alod, Astro, Sylvina, Patty, Clarissa for making my past worthy to be remembered and I believe we will still be bestfriend until forever.
My pastor who is a role model for me.
One in Rush team, a unique friendship that I will be grateful forever (each of them are precious).
My music team at church. I’m glad to be in one team with humble musicians like them.
And so many more people in my life who takes role in shaping me today. I am so thankful for each of you.
  3. Health of my family, my loved ones, & myself. Thanks Jesus for giving us healthy body.
  4. My job, my lovely students & their parents who trust in me.
  5. My past that was full of miracles, blessings, guidance, success, lessons, and beautiful memories.
  6. Things I have today. I still remember the day I pray to the Lord for what I have today. I now can say that He is always ON TIME in answering our prayer. He knows our needs, and he provides. Even He gives us what we WANT. HE IS GOOD!
  7. My talent, my face, my body, my look, my name, my smile, my hair, my teeth, everything about me. I am thankful for being me.
  8. My future. I know my Lord Jesus preparing something bigger for my future and I just can’t wait!

Oh my heart is full of thankfulness!

Hi everyone!
Pernah nggak ketemu sama orang yang ketika ngobrol selalu cerita tentang dirinya, pengalamannya, pemikirannya, prinsipnya, seleranya, pokoknya segala sesuatu tentang dirinya?

We’re accepted unconditionally. What’s more satisfying than that? Sedangkan kalau kita sering bragging dan berhasil (maksudnya orang lain melihat kita sesempurna bualan kita), maka ketika suatu hari mereka lihat kekurangan kita, yang ada mereka jadi kecewa sama kita dan…. ilfil.
Kalau mau dipanjangin lagi daftar kerugiannya, kebiasaan bragging membuat kita jadi seperti membohongi diri sendiri dan akhirnya membuat kita nggak nyaman karena kita selalu berusaha tampak sempurna sesesempurna bualan kita. (Capek, bro!)

Too much talk leads to sin (Proverb 10:19 NLT ).

What a wonderful feeling to be loved unconditionally!

Akhir kata, “Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; someone else, and not your own lips”-Proverb 27:2 NIV

Be double blessed everyone!
